Greater Lowell Technical High School welcomes newly appointed
Superintendent-Director Roger Bourgeois, who begins on Friday, December 13. Mr. Bourgeois brings 33 years of experience in technical education, beginning his career as a carpentry instructor. During his career, Mr. Bourgeois has held numerous leadership positions, most recently as the Network Superintendent for Vocational Technical Education in the Boston Public School system. He also served as Superintendent-Director of Essex Agricultural and Technical High School and was an Assistant Superintendent-Director at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.
The largest school of its kind in the United States, Greater Lowell Technical High School is a fully accredited high school offering a full academic program and 23 technical programs to a culturally diverse student body of 2100 from the communities of Lowell, Dracut, Tyngsboro and Dunstable.
