After graduation (Business Tech) I went to work at Wang Labs in Lowell; where I met my husband. I worked there for six years leaving after having my son. I took a few years off to be with my son and then returned to the workforce doing temp work. In 1991 I went work at Stratus in Marlboro/Maynard, MA. I left there in 2002 to work for Egenera in Marlboro. My son is now 17 years old; a junior at Hudson Catholic High School in Hudson, MA. The years have just flown by.We moved into our first new home about five years ago in Douglas, MA...a very nice, quiet town near the border of RI.The Class of 1980 really should have a 25 year reunion since we have not had one at all. I would be very interested in helping out.....Take good care, |

I graduated from the Drafting department and continued in my field
for several years. I worked for a firm in Hopkinton Mass called
Moisture Systems where I was a Mechanical Engineer for 18 years
I then went to work for a start up company in Hudson, Mass (Pixelink)
where I held the Director of Engineering Position for 3 years. We
sold the company to a Chicago based company and I am now the Vice
President of Global Engineering for the Display Systems Group of
Richardson Electronics based in Marlboro, Mass.
I was married for 12 years and then divorced. We had a beautiful
daughter who is now 18 years old and is attending the Maine Maritime
Academy in Castine, Maine pursuing a degree in Marine Biology.
I recently relocated to Western, Mass (2007) where I built a new
house in a beautiful country setting overlooking the western
mountains. In my spare time I have been teaching down hill skiing
in the winter for the past 26 years, working with children and
adults of all abilities. Its truly the best winter part time job in
the world. In the summer I enjoy playing golf and fine dining in
Boston. I enjoy annual vacation travel to the Caribbean islands. My
favorite is Aruba
It would be nice to get in touch with old school mates. |

Joined the USAF in November of 1980. Became a Christian in 1981. Lived in New Mexico (Holloman AFB) for 2 years and Aviano Air Base (Italy) for 2 years.
Graduated from UMASS - Lowell in 1987 with a BS in Industrial Technology (Mfg emphasis). Worked in several Industries in the local area (NAVTEC in Littleton, manufacturer of solid-rod rigging for high performance sail boats and CC1, manufacturer of image processors for Printing Industry). I am happily married to the woman I fell in love with in 1990 and am blessed with two handsome boys, Jonathan (9) and Benjamin (12). Benjamin was born 3 months premature and weighed 1 lb. 7 oz but is now doing great - no issues at all! Jonathan had brain surgery 4 years ago (due to moyamoya disease) and is also doing very well - no issues! We love doing anything outdoors: hiking, camping, biking, swimming, etc.
I graduated from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div) in 2004 and we moved back to MA in September of that year. I worked for Merck Vaccines for 12 years (6 years in Mfg in PA and 6 years in Vaccine Sales in MA), and now work for MedImmune, manufacturer of FluMist (nasal flu spray); I am the MA Public Sector Manager.
I have many, many FUN memories of my 4 years at The Voke. Would love to hear from my alumni!
Blessings to each one! |

I was in the "Commercial Art" area at the "Voke" and have had many memorable moments as a young student. Just being around fellow students who had similar interests was a great experience for me. I am the first to admit, however, that I was certainly not a scholarly student during my time at GLRVTHS. After graduating I decided to become a more serious about education and studied for many years earning advanced degrees. I am currently principal of Richard Brian Doubleday Design based in Brookline, MA and teach full-time as an assistant professor at Boston University. I am planning to marry in May of 2001. Very Best! |

I was in the Commercial Arts program, and I have very fond memories of my years at the "Voke". I was on the swim team, and was voted Most Artistic in my graduating class. After graduation I earned my Associate's degree, then spent most of the 80's working as an illustrator and playing bass guitar in local rock bands. I am currently a consultant at Boston College where I work with faculty in the areas of multimedia and instructional design. I continue to play music locally, and I am currently studying theatre at Boston College. I have had roles in several independent films, and I have a small part in the upcoming movie "The Boondock Saints". It was filmed in Boston, and should be in theaters Fall of 1999. If you get the chance, visit my web page <www2.bc.edu/~swansonm> and drop me an email, I'd love to hear from any of my old friends! Be well. |
