5 % Safety and Health Concepts

THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS ALIGNED WITH THE MATCHING MASSACHUSETTS VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL EDUCATOR FRAMEWORKS.  SOME QUESTIONS REQUIRE A SYNTHESIS OF KNOWLEDGE BASED ON VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL WORK EXPERIENCE AND MAY NOT BE FOUND IN ANY BOOK.  HOWEVER, CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO STUDY FOR THEIR EXAMS BY REVIEWING CURRENT TEXTBOOKS AND REFERENCE MATERIAL WHICH CAN USUALLY BE FOUND IN THE LIBRARIES OF MOST VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOLS AND SCHOOLS WHICH OFFER CHAPTER 74 PROGRAMS.

 On completion of the exam Candidates must turn in the following:

 

 

Candidates will be provided with a personal computer running Windows XP Pro, HP laser printer, paper, pencils, and a 1 gigabyte flash drive to be used to save all work on.  The test site will have available the following software development environments for your use in developing the Programming and Web Development projects:

 



 

 

 Once the exam has started you will NOT be admitted into the exam.

 

Candidates may NOT bring their own computer, printer, etc.

 

 

You must notify Lisa Joslin at (978) 441-4946 no later than two week prior to the exam date to indicate the software development environment you want to use for the exam.
