In this shop students will be introduce to the careers in the machine technology field. Students will learn machine tool techniques for the lathe, pedestal grinder, drill press and milling machine. Blueprint reading and sketching, and the use of various charts will be reviewed. Occupations available in this field include band saw operator, surface grinder operator, CNC machine programmer, inspector, instrument maker, and jig and fixture maker. |
