In this shop students will have an overview of the opportunities available in the plumbing field. Students will be introduced to sketching of piping diagrams, learning how to read and use measuring instruments, ordering tools and materials, and use trade related mathematics. In their first year of shop, students will fabricate projects in the materials used for water distribution, waste water, venting and gas projects. Careers available in this field include designer-plumber, mechanical engineer, project supervisor, pipefitter, and plumbing contractor. |
