Summer is a bad time to work on your tan. The sun is bad for you. You probably will get some horrible disease if you stay out in the sun. A much better use off the 10 weeks of summer vacation is to stay in the house and read.  Reading burns calories. Well, than again so does sleeping, but what the heck. Reading makes your brain grow. It would be kind of cool if we all needed to wear bigger hats in the fall. Of course, you can’t actually wear a hat at school...But....If everyone reads during the summer and learns about technology, we will all come back to school ready to teach and ready to learn. The future of the world depends upon us. By reading and continuing our education, no matter how much it hurts, we will save humanity.

Now isn’t that better than sitting on the beach?
