•V Brick is GLTECH’s new Video On Demand system that has replaced Media Retrieval and Video Click. Please follow these step by step directions in order to install V Brick and get acquainted with it.

•V Brick has several applications among them “Live Broadcasts” and an video on-demand “Asset Library.”•V Brick has 6 cable television channels that can been viewed on the “GL Tech Video On Demand” site. The 6 channels are  Food TV, Discovery, CNN, WGBH WORLD, HGTV,  and the History Channel.

•V Brick also has an “Asset Library” in which videos contained in GLTECH Cluster folders can be viewed. When you click a folder it will reveal a selection of videos.  Please note that there are videos that are applicable to more than 1 cluster. In that case you can look for the video using V Brick’s search features or on the GLTECH library online catalog.

•This power point is designed to get you started with V Brick. It does not contain many of the features that you will use in your day to day teaching. We will provide additional training during the course of the school year. 

•Please understand that DVD videos will be put on V Brick throughout the  school year. If you would like DVDs placed on

V Brick please fill out the sheet that is attached at the end of this power point. Be sure to include the following information:  The name of the video; the folder in which you would like the video placed in the “Asset Library; ” the video tape # from GLTECH’s online catalog; and, most importantly, when you need the video placed on V Brick.

•If you would like DVD content placed on V Brick that is currently not located in the library catalog, it must be approved by your Cluster Chairperson.  Thank you!
