ESSENTIALS QUESTIONS:   How can you determine the cheapest way to rent a car?

CULMINATING TASK:          The students will research various rental car companies and calculate

                                                    the cost of renting a car to take a road trip.  Students will have the option

                                                    of using graphs or a poster presentation to show  which company is the most

                                                    cost effective.

 

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

    In order to complete this package, you will:
  1. Compute the cost of renting a car from a rental car company.
  2. Arrive at a formula used to calculate the cost of renting a car
  3. Create graphs using information gathered from tables.
  4. Answer questions in complete sentences relating to the information found in the graphs.
