Fall 2010

The cheerleaders started their 2010 - 2011 campaign off on the right foot, enjoying a very successful fall season.  The cheerleaders placed 1st at the Stacy Stott Invitational and received the highest score of the afternoon session, making them Grand Champions.  Following up their victory at the Stacy Stott, they competed for the fall Commonwealth Athletic Conference league title at Blackstone Valley Technical H.S.  Once again, they placed 1st in Division 1 and received the highest score making them Grand Champions.  At the North Region State Division 1 competition, the girls’ placed 1st earning them the North Regional competition champion title which qualified them to compete at the State Championships.

Winter 2011

The Gryphon cheerleading squad continued to impress, with another successful campaign.  They picked up right where they left off in the fall.  The team placed first in league competition and finished the regular season as Commonwealth Athletic Conference champions.   At the North Region State Division 1 competition they placed second and sixth at the MIAA State tournament.  The strong finish qualified the team to compete in the New England tournament, where they placed fifth.
