How Do You Become a National Technical Honor Society Member?

· Junior and Senior students only.

· Cumulative GPA of 90 or greater.

· No more than 13 absences during the previous school year, and no more than 5 by the midterm of the current year.

· Academic grade of 80 or better in every course.

· Technical and related grade of 85 or better.

· Never receive a final grade below 70% or a No Credit.

· Student must be in good standing with the Deans.

· Student must pass MCAS examinations.

Students who meet this criteria will be notified by the advisors and invited to apply for membership. Students must fill out an application form and write a personal essay.

Your instructors will be asked to complete a confidential assessment that will be reviewed by the committee.

The Committee will review all applications and either accept or reject according to established criteria.
