Homework Assistance & Tutoring
Homework and Tutoring Assistance Programs are resources that provide a quiet, supervised study space where students can complete homework or receive extra help with teacher assistance. We offer after school tutoring and assistance programs Monday through Friday starting at student dismissal ending when students can take late buses home at 3:00. Students do not need to sign up – they can just go and sign into the center when they need assistance. Please note it may be recommended or required (in collaboration with parents) as a support for students who are struggling academically. The homework and tutoring center is currently located in the cafeteria.
These programs provide students with assistance in academic classes and supports student achievement on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment Exams (MCAS) exams. Students are required to pass MCAS exams in English Language Arts, Math in grade 10 and Biology in grades 9 or 10. Passing these exams is required to receive a high school diploma. Please encourage your son/daughter to take advantage of the extra help available to increase his/her chance to pass state testing requirements.
If you need virtual homework and tutoring assistance, please use the links below on Monday through Friday from 2:06 to 3:00. It will also be held in person in the Cafeteria Monday through Friday from 2:06 to 3:00. Thank you!
