Admission Policy

Massachusetts state regulations (603 CMR 4.00) require all state-funded career/vocational technical education (CVTE) schools and CVTE programs at public high schools to develop and implement admissions policies that comply with state and federal law, as well as relevant guidelines issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the U.S. Department of Education.

On December 15, 2022, the Greater Lowell Technical High School District Committee approved the following Admission Policy for all students who seek enrollment. All applicants seeking enrollment must complete a Greater Lowell Technical High School - Admissions Application.

The student's Seventh (7th) and first two terms of their Eighth (8th) Grade Transcript, including attendance and conduct, and a school counselor recommendation must be sent from the middle school to our Admissions Department. A student's application will not be considered for enrollment without the appropriate attendance, conduct, grade report, and school counselor recommendation.
