TYNGSBORO — Congratulations to the following Greater Lowell Technical High School students for being chosen as Students of the Month for September and October 2025. Each of these students has displayed the characteristics of Greater Lowell’s core values, R.E.A.C.H., by showing Respect, Effort, Accountability, Commitment, and Honesty in their classes and among their peers. These students also reflect Greater Lowell’s mission to ensure students’ readiness for career, college, and citizenship in the 21st century.
September 2025
Juliette DesRochers, a senior from Lowell, entered Greater Lowell from the Wang Middle School. Juliette is majoring in Information Technology Services and has maintained honor roll and high honor roll grades throughout high school. She is pursuing a challenging academic schedule, which includes Dual Enrollment English Composition, Early College Precalculus, Honors Physics, and AP Computer Science A. Juliette is a member of the National Honor Society/National Technical Honor Society, SkillsUSA, and the Music Club. She was also a member of the Greater Lowell swim and dive team, where she earned awards for Consistent and Outstanding Achievement. Juliette was nominated as a student who embodies the core values of Effort and Commitment. She is described as a hardworking student who is always positive, upbeat, and willing to help others. Following graduation, Juliette plans to attend Middlesex Community College, where she will pursue a major in computer science before transferring to complete her bachelor’s degree.
Joseph Antwi Jr., a senior from Lowell, entered Greater Lowell from the Lowell Community Charter Public School. Joseph is majoring in Cosmetology and maintains a 4.37 GPA. He is pursuing a rigorous academic schedule, which includes AP English Literature and Composition, AP Calculus AB, AP Physics, and AP Seminar. Joseph is a member of the National Honor Society/National Technical Honor Society, Student Council, and the Jesus Club Pilot Program. He is also an active member and competitor of SkillsUSA, where he serves on the Chapter Executive Council as chapter lead ambassador. Joseph is serving as a student representative to the School Council and is employed at Blo Blowdry Bar in Burlington through the cooperative education program. He has received numerous awards for honor roll, high honor roll, outstanding performance in his technical area, outstanding achievement in his academic classes, and perfect attendance. Outside of school, Joseph is employed as an associate at Target in Lowell. He was nominated as a student who embodies the core values of Respect, Honesty, and Effort. He is described by his theory instructor as an outstanding student who demonstrates the highest level of character and dedication. Following graduation, Joseph plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
April Loeuth Prum, a junior from Lowell, entered Greater Lowell from the Daley Middle School. April is majoring in Health Assisting/Pre-Nursing. She pursues a flexible academic schedule designed to prepare her for college or a career with coursework in College Preparatory Algebra 2, Honors English, and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. April has been a participant in the Greater Lowell field hockey team. Outside of school, April enjoys spending time with her 11-month-old son, who is the source of her motivation and inspiration. April was nominated as a student who demonstrates the core values of Commitment, Respect, and Honesty. She is described as a hardworking and resilient student who goes above and beyond each and every day. Her instructors note that her determination, work ethic, professionalism, and technical skill consistently set her apart from her peers. Following graduation, April plans to pursue a degree in the healthcare field while continuing to work and support her family.
Winiereach Ek, a sophomore from Lowell, entered Greater Lowell from the Daley Middle School. Winiereach is majoring in Engineering and maintains a 4.25 GPA. He pursues an honors-level academic schedule, which includes Honors English, Honors Geometry, Honors Chemistry, and Honors US History 2. He has received awards for honor roll, high honor roll, and perfect attendance. He is a member of SkillsUSA, the Robotics Club, and the Student Ambassador Program. Winiereach has participated in numerous student leadership opportunities, including the Edge of Leadership/High Five Program and the District Attorney’s Empowering Citizens Conference. Outside of school, he enjoys riding his bike, reading, and learning tennis. Winiereach was nominated as a student who demonstrates the core values of Accountability, Effort, and Respect. He is described as a serious and conscientious student who consistently demonstrates focus, determination, and a commitment to the school’s core values. Following graduation, Winiereach plans to continue his education in the engineering field and secure a position as a defense contractor.
October 2025
Avianna Sanchez, a senior from Lowell, entered Greater Lowell from the Wang Middle School. She is majoring in Cosmetology and maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is pursuing a challenging academic schedule, which includes Honors-level classes in English, Precalculus, and Psychology. Avianna has received awards for honor roll, high honor roll, and perfect attendance. She is employed at Greater Lowell Tech as an after-school and summer employee through a partnership with MassHire. Outside of school, she enjoys babysitting in her free time. Avianna was nominated as a student who embodies the core values of Respect and Commitment. She is described by her Psychology instructor as a conscientious student who demonstrates the utmost respect to both staff and students, and whose work ethic is second to none. Following graduation, Avianna plans to attend Middlesex Community College and major in business entrepreneurship.
Oliver McCarthy, a junior from Tyngsboro, entered Greater Lowell from the Tyngsboro Middle School. Oliver is majoring in Engineering and maintains a 4.40 GPA. He pursues a demanding academic and technical schedule, which includes AP English Language and Composition, AP Biology, Early College Engineering Ethics, and Early College Engineering Economics. He has received awards for the Civics Fair: Best Overall Project, Contract Winner and “Ravenous Robot” winner for the BAE FOCUS Program, WBLA Engineering Design Challenge winner, high honor roll, and perfect attendance. Oliver is an active member and competitor in SkillsUSA, currently serving as chapter treasurer, and has earned numerous leadership and technical awards through his participation. He is also a member of the National Honor Society/National Technical Honor Society, Robotics Club, Math Club, and the Student Ambassador Program. Outside of school, Oliver is a BAE Systems FOCUS Program mentor and part of the perSEVERE First Robotics Competition team. Oliver was nominated as a student who demonstrates the core values of Commitment and Effort. He is described as a dedicated student who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to mentoring others, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence for himself. Following graduation, Oliver plans to continue his education at a college or university and major in mechanical engineering.
Kelsey Bergeron, a sophomore from Dracut, entered Greater Lowell from the Richardson Middle School. Kelsey is majoring in Early Childhood Education and maintains a 4.32 GPA. She pursues an honors-level academic schedule, which includes Honors English, Honors Geometry, Honors Chemistry, and Honors US History 2. She has received recognition for honor roll and high honor roll. Kelsey is a member of Greater Lowell’s champion-winning cross country team, where she has earned the Coaches Award and a Varsity Race Medal. Outside of school, Kelsey dances with Lisa Pilato Dance Studio and volunteers at the Dracut Library. She works part-time at Mike’s Ice Cream in Dracut and Market Basket in Lowell. She also babysits for friends and family. Kelsey was nominated as a student who demonstrates the core values of Accountability and Honesty. She is described as a model student who sets an example for others while also motivating and engaging her peers. She demonstrates the best qualities of leadership through her empathy and ability to bring out the best in others. Following graduation, Kelsey plans to pursue a career in early education as a preschool teacher.
Alex Beauregard, a freshman from Dracut, entered Greater Lowell from Lowell Catholic. He is pursuing a challenging academic schedule, which includes Honors English, Honors Algebra 1 and 2, Honors Biology, and Honors US History. Alex is a member of SkillsUSA, the SkillsUSA Freshman Achievement Program, and the Art Club. In middle school, he was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and regularly participated in community service events. Alex is currently completing pre-coursework in all 23 technical areas, including Carpentry, Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing, and Veterinary Science. While Alex still has many programs to explore, so far, he has particularly enjoyed Engineering Technology and Masonry. He was nominated as a student who embraces the core values of Effort and Commitment. He is a motivated and dedicated student who consistently demonstrates leadership, initiative, and a strong work ethic. Following graduation, Alex plans to pursue a college degree before entering the workforce.
