Social Studies

Preparation of informed, thoughtful and active citizens for the realities of a rapidly changing world is the goal of the Greater Lowell Social Studies program.  Topics of relevance for college-bound students and those going directly to work are incorporated.  Teachers emphasize the dignity of each individual and the importance of working together to achieve common goals.  All courses are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
