Curriculum Office

The Curriculum Office works with teachers, administrators, support staff, students, families, and community partners to develop, implement, and continuously improve curriculum, instruction, and assessment across both academic and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at Greater Lowell Technical High School. The office helps ensure students have access to meaningful learning experiences, challenging coursework, and opportunities that prepare them for success in college, careers, and citizenship.

The office oversees a variety of academic and student programs, including Early College, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP), Project Lead The Way (PLTW), the ninth-grade CTE Exploratory Program, the Summer Enrichment Program for incoming freshmen, and credit recovery opportunities. In partnership with educators across the school, the office also coordinates curriculum development, instructional improvement, professional learning, project-based learning (PBL), instructional technology, and supports MyCAP implementation.

The Curriculum Office also coordinates district assessment and graduation requirements, including the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), Competency Determination (CD), and state assessment and reporting requirements. Together, these efforts help ensure students remain on track for graduation while strengthening teaching and learning across Greater Lowell Technical High School.
