The school nurses are available from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm


The Department of Mental Health has launched a new Behavioral Health Help Line that people can call or text at 833-773-2445. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in more than 200 languages. The help line can help individuals and families navigate the behavioral health system and access treatment, including mobile crisis services. District and school leaders are asked to please share this resource with staff, families, and students, where helpful. For more information, please see the FAQ. Department of Public Health Letter to Families - Preventing Fall Illness

The Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics want to remind parents and families about steps to take to prevent illness and stay
healthy this season.

Viral/Illness Protocol
 

  • If your child is not feeling well, please consider the following: do not send your child to school and see their doctor to get tested for Covid-19, flu, strep throat, or other communicable illnesses.
  • Students should remain at home until fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications, such as Tylenol or Advil (acetaminophen/ibuprofen)
  • Please note that any absence from school will require a doctor’s note in order to be excused from school.

 

 Meningococcal Vaccine for 11th Grade Students

All 11th grade students will require 1 booster dose of the Meningococcal Vaccine on or after 16 years of age.

Please see your child’s doctor to update immunizations and send in an updated copy to the nurse.
