After School Homework Assistance and Tutoring Program

Homework Assistance & Tutoring - Opens September 30, 2024

Homework and Tutoring Assistance Programs are resources that provide a quiet, supervised study space where students can complete homework or receive extra help with teacher or peer assistance.

We offer after-school tutoring and assistance programs Monday through Thursday starting at student dismissal and ending when students can take late buses home at 3:00. Students do not need to sign up – they can just go to the third floor IMC and sign in to the center whenever assistance is needed.

Please note it may be recommended or required (in collaboration with families) as a support for students who are struggling academically.

This program provides students with assistance in academic classes and supports student achievement on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment Exams (MCAS) exams. Students are required to pass MCAS exams in English Language Arts, and Math in grade 10, and Biology in grades 9 or 10. Passing these exams is required to receive a high school diploma. Please encourage your son/daughter to take advantage of the extra help available to increase his/her chance to pass state testing requirements.
