The tuition for the Fall 2025 Greater Lowell Technical School of Practical Nursing, both days and evenings will be $7,500 for in-district students with a down payment of $3,500; $11,579 for out-of-district students with a down payment of $4,000; $12,579 for out-of-state students with a down payment of $4,000. In addition to the tuition cost, there will be a seat reservation, testing & remediation fee, drug testing fee and NCLEX Review of TBS. Please remember that this TBD fee is not part of the tuition. Please be aware that financial aid cannot be used to pay your down payment. All payments are required to be made in the form of a bank check, money order or credit card (MC or VISA). No cash will be accepted.
In accordance with the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 as amended by PL 116-315 § 1005, Greater Lowell Technical School complies with the following regulations:
Greater Lowell Technical School charges qualifying veterans, dependents, and eligible individuals tuition and fees at the rate for in-state residents.
As amended, 38 U.S.C. 3679(c) requires that the following individuals be charged the in-state resident rate:
A veteran using educational assistance under either Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill® – Active Duty Program), Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation) or Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 G Bill), of 38 U.S.C. who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of his/her formal state of residence).
Anyone using transferred Post-9/11 G.I. Bill benefits (38 U.S.C. § 3319) who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of his/her formal state of residence).
Anyone described above while he or she remains continuously enrolled (other than during regularly scheduled breaks between courses, semesters, or terms) at the same institution. The person must be using educational benefits under Chapter 30, Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 of 38 U.S.C.
Anyone using benefits under the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship (38 U.S.C. § 3311(b)(9)) who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of his/her formal state of residence).
In accordance with Sec. 103 of The Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018:
Greater Lowell Technical School of Practical Nursing permits any covered individual* to attend or participate in the course of education during the period beginning on the date on which the individual provides to the educational institution a certificate of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance under chapter 31 or 33 (a "certificate of eligibility" can also include a "Statement of Benefits" obtained from the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) website - eBenefits, or a VAF 28-1905 form for chapter 31 authorization purposes) and ending on the earlier of the following dates:
- The date on which payment from VA is made to the institution.
- 90 days after the date the institution certified tuition and fees following the receipt of the certificate of eligibility.
*A covered individual is any individual who is entitled to educational assistance under chapter 31, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, or chapter 33, Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits.
Greater Lowell Technical School of Practical Nursing does not penalize Chapter 31 or 33 students if/when the VA is late making payments. Greater Lowell Technical School of Practical Nursing does not have any policies in place that would do any of the following while waiting for VA payments:
- Prevent enrolling
- Assessing a late penalty fee
- Requiring alternative or additional sources of funding
- Denies access to school resources
In order to prevent outstanding student accounts, Chapter 31 or 33 students must:
- Submit a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Statement of Benefits by the first day of classes
- Submit a written request to be certified
- Provide any additional information needed for certification
