Spirit Days!

Each day has a different theme, and we want to see your most creative, school-appropriate Spirit Day outfits! REMEMBER– you must be appropriately dressed, especially in shops/classes with safety requirements.

Remember: all attire must be school-appropriate; no masks or hoods.

• Friday, September 25 – Flags Out Friday
  • Kick off Homecoming festivities by celebrating the cultures, communities, and identities that make Greater Lowell special!
• Monday, September 28 – Monday Mash-Up: Country Club vs. Country Western
  • Choose your side: Wear your best golf and country-club attire or break out your boots, denim, and country-western style!
• Tuesday, September 29 – Together Tuesday
  • Coordinate with a friend, group, team, club, class, or shop! Matching outfits, complementary costumes, and group themes are all welcome. Make sure everyone feels included!
• Wednesday, September 30 – Suit Up Wednesday (Early Release Day)
  • Business suit or sweatsuit—which will you choose? Dress for success or coordinated comfort!
• Thursday, October 1 – Throwback Thursday: Class Eras
  • Travel back in time with your class!
    • Freshmen: The ’70s
    • Sophomores: The ’80s
    • Juniors: The ’90s
    • Seniors: The 2000s
    • Staff: Your own era!
• Friday, October 2 – Gryphon Pride Friday
  • Wear blue, gold, or your favorite Greater Lowell gear. Show your school spirit—Go GRYPHONS!

Homecoming Dance

Join us on Friday, October 2nd as we celebrate Homecoming Week with our annual Homecoming Dance! Tickets are $16.00 and must be purchased in advance at on the MySchoolBucks Website . *TICKETS MAY SELL OUT. SPACE IS LIMITED. Ticket sales will close on SEPTEMBER 25th OR WHEN THEY SELL OUT.*

Financial assistance is available for qualifying students. Contact Ms. Cornellier for info.

Your Homecoming Dance Ticket Includes:

• Super Smash Bros Tournament Admission, 5:00 pm- 7:30 pm, Cafeteria
• Homecoming Dance Admission, 7:00 pm-10:00 pm, Cafeteria
• Music, Special Effects, and Photo Booth by B.A.S.S. DJ Entertainment
• Pizza, snacks, and refreshments at the dance
• *Open to GLTHS Students only (all grades!). No outside guests.*
• *Permission slips must be returned prior to ticket pick-up (9/30-10/2)*
• Permission Slips are located outside of Student Activities, room 2564, and on myschoolbucks.com. 
• Permission slips can be returned to the Main Office, Student Activities, or via email to Sharon Cornellier. MUST HAVE A LEGAL SIGNATURE (not a typed name).
• Dress up or dress casual. Homecoming is about being comfortable!
• JV/Varsity Football, Cheer, and Competitive Dance– see your coach for special admission info.

Homecoming Royalty – Seniors Only!

Each year, Greater Lowell bestows the title of “Homecoming Royalty” upon two seniors who demonstrate School Spirit and represent our Core Values.

• *SENIORS WILL SELF-NOMINATE – Friday, Sept. 23rd, to Monday, Sept. 28th, at 8:00 am.*
  • Seniors will nominate themselves to appear on the ballot for Homecoming Royalty. 
    • Seniors– the nomination form will be emailed to you on/by September 23rd. 
• All Seniors who fully complete the nomination form *by 8:00 am on Monday, September 28th,* will be eligible to appear on the ballot.  
  • The form must be completed according to the directions provided in each question and includes an application, essay, biography, and campaign slide.
  • Since this is a position of school leadership, seniors must be in good academic standing and have a positive attendance and conduct record to appear on the ballot.
  • Seniors who meet the requirements to appear on the ballot will be notified on/by 12:00 noon on September 28th. 
• Homecoming Royalty Elections — Seniors, check your email on Monday, September 28th at 2:00 pm for your chance to vote for your Homecoming Royalty! *All votes must be received by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30th.* The 8 students who receive the highest number of votes will be crowned as Homecoming Court, with the top 2 also being named Homecoming Royalty. Homecoming Court and Royalty finalists will be announced during the M.E. Mall Fall Fashion show on Thursday, October 1st.  *Can’t attend?  Check your email on October 1st to see the results!*
