Friday, May 9, 2025– Senior Prom at the Boston Marriot in Burlington. Tickets will be on sale March 18th - April 11th on MySchoolBucks!
Thursday, June 5, 2025– Graduation Rehearsal at Tsongas Center, Lowell.
Friday, June 6, 2025– Graduation Ceremony at Tsongas Center, Lowell. 

More Graduation Information will be provided closer to the date. All seniors who have paid senior dues will receive their cap, gown, tassel, and 8 guest tickets at the rehearsal.


SENIOR DUES - OVERDUE! - But, it's not too late to pay!

Class of 2024 Seniors have been invoiced for their Senior Dues via My School Bucks. Senior Dues are $105.00 and cover the cost of your cap, gown, tassel, yearbook, senior t-shirt, certain senior week activities, and graduation-related expenses. Senior Dues must be paid via myschoolbucks.com. Once you create an account and add the name of the senior, you will find your senior dues invoice highlighted in red in your account. You can also click on the Invoices store (look for the tree image).

Senior Prom – Friday, May 9, 2025

7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Tickets are on sale at My School Bucks from April 18th to May 11th, while supplies last.  No late tickets will be sold. Tickets can only be purchased by Greater Lowell Technical High School seniors.  

GUEST TICKETS:
Seniors have the option to bring 1 guest who is a student in another grade, or an outside guest, by purchasing a Guest Ticket and using the guest approval form. 

PERMISSION SLIPS:
Seniors must return signed permission slips for themselves and their guests no later than April 29, 2025. Guests must be approved by the GLTHS student's dean. 
Permission forms can be picked up and returned at Student Activities (room 2564) or outside room 2322.  Permission forms can also be found on the My School Bucks product page.

TICKET PICK UP: 
Prom tickets will be available for pick up in the Student Activities Office from Tuesday, April 29th to Thursday, May 8th. Please note that the Student Activities Office will be closed all day on Friday, May 2, 2025. Tickets will also be available on Friday, May 9th in the Lecture Hall following the Senior Class Meeting and at the door on Prom Night.

Please note that the Senior must pick up tickets. Tickets will not be released to Guests.  

DISMISSAL ON PROM DAY:
In accordance with Student Handbook, pages 14-15: 
Seniors will be dismissed (excused) after the completion of the senior meeting or no later than 11:27 a.m. on the day of the senior prom. 

Students are not allowed to attend school sponsored activities if they do not attend school on the day of the activity, or are considered absent in accordance with the above tardiness and early dismissal provisions. Any exception must be approved by the Assistant Principal(s) or Dean of Students. 

PROM ENTRY:
To enter the event more quickly, Seniors and Guests should have their physical prom ticket and a copy of their ID (actual or photo) in order to enter the venue. No one will be permitted to enter the venue before 7:00 PM.


Formal Prom Photos:  

O'Connor Studio will be on site to take formal and candid prom photos.  No purchase is required. You do not need to bring a payment to the prom or place an order in advance.  On prom night, O'Connor will provide an online code for students/families to view photos and then purchase online. The code will also be emailed to seniors following the prom.

Friday, May 23rd – Last Day for Seniors!  Hypnotist Show and Senior Farewell BBQ (included in Senior Dues).

Graduation and Graduation Rehearsal

Graduation Rehearsal: 
Thursday, June 5, 2025
8:00 am to 12:30 pm

Mandatory Rehearsal– Seniors only, no guests please.

Caps, Gowns, Tassels and Graduation Tickets will be distributed at this time. Health Records will be returned to students at this time.

Senior dues must be paid. Contact your school counselor for financial assistance.

Graduation Frequently Asked Questions:

How many TICKETS does each senior receive?
Each senior will receive 8 tickets at graduation rehearsal. Graduates do not need a ticket to enter.

Where can I get more tickets?
Each student will receive 8 tickets only. Tickets ARE transferable and students are welcome to collect unused tickets from friends. Due to the size of our graduation class, we do not distribute additional tickets. 

How long does the ceremony last?
The ceremony length is determined by many factors but typically ends between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm.

Do children need graduation tickets?
The Tsongas Center requires that all children over the age of 2 have tickets even if you plan to hold them on your lap.   Children ages two and younger do not need a ticket.

Are certain items prohibited from graduation?
As a UMass Lowell Facility, all items related to smoking, vaping, alcohol or drugs are prohibited. In addition, inflatable items (like beach balls), balloons, outside food and drink, weapons, noisemakers and other items that could disrupt the ceremony are strictly prohibited.

Will there be a photographer taking pictures at the event?
Yes, O’Connor Studio will be at Graduation to take photos of students receiving their diplomas as well as candids throughout the night.  O’Connor will send information directly to families with purchasing options.

MY SCHOOL BUCKS

Payments for Senior Dues, Prom Tickets, Field Trips, and other fees are now being accepted at www.myschoolbucks.com. Cash, check and money order payments will not be accepted at the school. My School Bucks is fast and easy to use. There is no charge to set up an account and no user fees for our Student Activities Store. Information for Graduates

Congratulations!  You've graduated, but you may still have questions. Your most common questions can be answered below. Please note that the Student Activities Office is closed during the summer months. If you need immediate assistance, contact the Main Office at 978-441-4418.

Senior Prom Photos: Prom Photos take 6-8 weeks to process. You should expect your photos to ship in early July. Photos will be mailed to your home. For questions regarding Prom Photos, contact O'Connor Studio directly at 978-640-6250.

Graduation Photos: Graduation Photos are handled by GradImages. If you do not receive an ordering email, go to https://www.gradimages.com to easily search for your student's photos. Photos will be available 3-6 weeks after graduation. For customer service, call 1-800-261-2576.

Diplomas/Yearbooks: If you did not attend graduation, your diploma and items paid for by senior dues will be made available for pick up at the school. Diplomas cannot be mailed. Please contact Mrs. Febres at kfebres@gltech.org or the Main Office at 978-441-4418 to schedule a time for pick-up.  

Chromebook Issues: If you purchased a Chromebook and need assistance with permissions, please contact IS at 978-441-4885 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday, or Lisa Martinez, Director of Technology, at 978.441.4948 or lmartinez@gltech.org.
